I'm Svenja—and I create weddings that feel calm, intentional, and effortlessly right. Marry Mi was born during the planning of my own wedding in Tuscany. It was there that I experienced firsthand how quickly excitement can turn into constant decision-making, even during one of life’s most meaningful seasons.

I learned how valuable it is to have someone by your side who brings clarity, creates structure, and helps navigate decisions before they become overwhelming. That experience became the foundation of Marry Mi. Not as a traditional wedding planning service—but as a calm presence through a process that can often feel overwhelming, complex, and filled with expectations.

Today, I support couples wherever clarity is needed most. I bring direction to the planning journey, helping transform uncertainty into confidence and allowing space for what truly matters: your connection, your story, and this once-in-a-lifetime chapter together.

Not every wedding needs more ideas. Some simply need someone to hold everything together.

My philosophy

Every wedding tells a story. The only question is: whose?

That's why, for me, good wedding planning doesn't begin with trends, Pinterest boards, or the question of what one usually does. It begins with you. With what matters to you. With the way you are together. And with the question of how this day should feel once you set aside everything others expect from a wedding.

Your wedding can be elegant, exuberant, modern, opulent, or completely understated. It can pick up on trends – or deliberately break with them. What matters isn't whether it matches a particular idea. It's whether it feels like you.

I don't want to plan a day that simply looks beautiful. I want to plan one where your guests say: "That is so you." Because for me, the most beautiful weddings aren't the ones where every detail is perfectly staged. They're the ones where everything fits together because it fits you.

I believe that not everything that is planned has to feel planned – that good planning should above all do one thing: give you security without constantly pushing itself into the foreground. That's why with me you don't just get a wedding planner. With me by your side, you have someone who thinks ahead, keeps the overview, and gives you the confidence to make every decision with a good feeling. So you don't have to take care of everything, but are free to enjoy your engagement consciously.

Because that is exactly what good wedding planning means to me: it runs in the background. So that you can simply be engaged in the foreground.
